Neulich war ich mal wieder unterwegs. Erst im Auto, wo ich meistens schlafe während der Fahrt:

Recently I was on the road again. In the car I usually sleep:

Dann hieß es an der Rezeption warten für ein Zimmer:

Then waiting at the front desk of a hotel for a room to stay:

Von der Anreise habe ich mich dann erst einmal im Schrank ausgeruht.

I decided to rest for a while inside the closet.

Und was ich zuhause nicht darf, darf ich in Hotels: mich auf das Bett legen!

I am not allowed to stay in bed at home but in hotels I am!
